Sleep isn't just a biological necessity; it's our most powerful gateway to transformation and spiritual connection. When we shift from doing to being, we tap into the surrender state where our conscious mind steps aside and allows our higher self to integrate wisdom and create real change.
• Sleep quality affects all four areas where people seek transformation: health, wealth, relationships, and spirituality
• True change happens when resistance drops, making sleep our most receptive state for transformation
• Going to bed with tension keeps you in that vibrational frequency; intentional release before sleep creates space for healing
• Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) creates a spiritual reset and calms the nervous system even during daytime
Join us live Wednesday, April 23rd at 1pm Eastern for our new masterclass "How to Create Energy, Success and Spiritual Alignment While You Sleep" and receive our bonus "Perfect Evening Ritual Blueprint." Sign up in the show notes.

Speaker 1:Here's the truth almost nobody tells you. When it comes to transformation, it's not about doing more, it's about being more and to be more. We often have to let go. What do we need to let go of? We need to let go of old patterns. We need to shed societal conditioning and we need to release who we thought we needed to be, such as being enough or being worthy. This kind of deep transformation it doesn't happen by grinding your way to the top or taking massive action. It happens in the stillness, it happens in the surrender, in the spaces where we no longer are performing or doing. And there's one place that naturally happens every single day and that is in the sleep state.
Speaker 1:When we look at the major areas that people seek transformation, they tend to fall into four core categories health, wealth, love, meaning relationships that can be relationship with yourself, which is the most important, and relationship with others. And the last one is spirituality. Those are the four categories that the majority of people fall into when it comes to the transformation that they're seeking, and most people are seeking all of those things. It just may be which one is at the top of the list and which ones are in the middle and at the bottom of the list, but here's what most people don't realize is that the key to any of these starts in the one thing we all do every single day, and that is sleep. And here's the reason, because true change doesn't start when we force something. And that's what most people are trying to do when they are doing something is they are trying to force something to happen. And it starts when we get into a state where resistance drops In your most receptive, unresisting state.
Speaker 1:It's not during a goal-setting session, it's not even during your morning routine. It's when you sleep. It's the difference between paddling upstream or drifting downstream paddling upstream or drifting downstream. So sleep is not just rest. Sleep is where the subconscious rises, it's where the conscious mind steps aside, the analytical mind steps aside, and it's where you this is a great opportunity. It's where you, as a spiritual being, can receive insight. You can integrate wisdom, wisdom and begin being differently, not just doing differently. So let's break this down.
Speaker 1:Have you ever gone to bed angry or tense, replaying that argument or ruminating on that worry, or continuing in that stress loop in your mind, and then you wake up feeling like you never really rested? You wake up in that same state. This is not just in your head. You carry that tension of the day into your sleep and you woke up with that very same frequency and vibration. This is energy here that we're talking about. Sleep doesn't wash it away by default. But what if, instead of going to bed with that tension, you went to bed with intention, with a gentle release, with forgiveness, with a gentle release, with forgiveness, with gratitude and appreciation, and with trust that your higher self would do the work while you rested? This is where true restoration and transformation begins, and the more relaxed that you are, the more intentional you are when you go to sleep. The more relaxed that you are, the more intentional you are when you go to sleep. If your top category is health, this is when the healing process is going to rapidly accelerate when you are sleeping. Going to prohibit, it's going to inhibit the ability for your body and for your mind to heal properly, to restore properly, to regenerate DNA, to be able to detoxify. All these things happen at night.
Speaker 1:So if you want that true restoration, if you want that true transformation, we need to let go of resistance and connect to our true self, our higher self, the larger part of us. Right, there are two parts of us. There are the the physical part of us, and then there is the non-physical part of us, and that non-physical part of us is what we came from. We came from non-physical. We're here in the physical. We're going to go back to the non-physical, but that both parts of us still exist. And being able to let go of that resistance allows you to connect to that higher part of yourself. So during sleep we are in a non-resistant state, a perfect environment for transformation. Now, that is, if we let go of that resistance before we go to sleep.
Speaker 1:And when we talk about spirituality not religion, but spirituality about connection to source or, if you want to call it, god to our truest self, we have to understand you are always connected, that connection is always available for you. But during the day, your conscious mind, your analytical mind, your ego, your to-do list, your protective programming can drown out the whisper of your soul. But at night you return home, you get to communicate with that higher part of you, the one that doesn't need fixing, the one that already knows. And that's why, inside our practice at Love Energy Wellness, we've been focusing on sleep optimization, not just for energy, but for spiritual and conscious alignment. That's the needs of our clients at this time. That's what a lot of clients are saying, that they feel as though they need that, and we're here to help them in any way we can. And the best way we can do that is through sleep optimization. Now here's the fun part.
Speaker 1:Sleep isn't just what happens at night. Even a nap, yes, a nap, especially a short one during the day, not too late. So I would say, you know, not after three or 4 pm, because that can disrupt your nighttime sleep. But a sleep, a short nap during the day can act as a spiritual reset, a health reset. In the neuroscience world we call it NSDR non-sleep deep rest and these intentional rest periods calm the sympathetic nervous system. They reset stress levels, so your cortisol levels, and create a quiet window where insights can come through. So you can practice NSDR through simple breath work, through yoga, nidra, or simply lying down eyes closed, with no agenda, for 10 minutes, 20 minutes if you can, would be wonderful. It's like actually pressing the reset button on your brain and your soul. And if you're someone who says, but Jeff, I can't nap during the day, well, there's good news you don't have to fully fall asleep to get the benefits. And this is where NSDR or non-sleep deep rest come into play. So NSDR, it's a state where your body fully relaxes while your mind remains lightly aware, and it's been shown to help lower cortisol, to reset your nervous system, to enhance memory.
Speaker 1:And this is the one you're going to love right here to boost creativity. So you've probably experienced it before without actually realizing it, like that dreamy state where time kind of blurs and your thoughts get a little bit floaty. And guess who swore by it? Thomas Edison. Yes, the light bulb guy. He used micro naps and the hypnagogic state to spark some of his best ideas. And here's how he would do it he would drift off holding metal balls in his hand so that when he slipped into the deep focused state that he would relax and the balls would clatter to the ground and then wake him up so he could catch the idea floating in his subconscious. You know, thomas Edison was an absolute genius, but this is just the icing on the cake here. This is just the icing on the cake here what Edison tapped into.
Speaker 1:Naturally, we now understand through neuroscience, nsdr. It's a bridge to your subconscious mind, your creative, intuitive self. And here's the kicker. You can train yourself to access the state with short guided rest practices or the breath work that we talked about, or our neurotrust method of hypnosis. Even just 10 to 20 minutes in the afternoon can reset your energy, increase clarity and shift your emotional state.
Speaker 1:Now, if you want to take this to a deeper level, you can try deeper hypnosis before bed. You know, hypnosis isn't magic. It's just a way to guide your brain into the theta brainwave state where you're calm, you're open and receptive. Now this is the state of suggestibility for the mind. So when you are falling asleep you're actually going from a higher brainwave state to a lower brainwave state. So you're going from like alpha and beta and then you're going through that theta brainwave state into the delta brainwave state. When you're actually in a deep state of rest, we can plant those seeds of suggestibility for creativity, for spirituality, for receptiveness to the downloads and the energy and the information that you're looking for from the universe, from your higher self. And this is perfect for releasing old habits, for anchoring intentions and gently rewiring your subconscious. And gently rewiring your subconscious, you're actually creating new neural networks in this theta brainwave state when you're listening to a guided hypnosis or a meditation or anything of the like. And what this is going to do? It's going to support your growth while you sleep. In fact, many of our clients use custom hypnosis audios as part of their evening wind down and the breakthroughs they experience it makes them absolutely unstoppable. So I want to give you I want to keep this simple I want to give you a three-step plan to turn sleep into a transformation portal.
Speaker 1:Number one set an intention before bed. So try this. Say to yourself or you can think this out loud, you can write it down, you can feel it. That's the biggest thing. Is you want to do this with feeling Tonight, I choose to release what no longer serves and release what I am ready to embody. I'll say that again Tonight I choose to release what no longer serves and receive what I am ready to embody.
Speaker 1:Number two try NSDR, non-sleep deep rest or light hypnosis. You can use guided meditation. There's plenty on YouTube. Look up Yoga Nidra, no-transcript, and that's going to do so much for you. It's going to reset your central nervous system, it's going to adjust your heart rate variability, and to do that right before bed is you're doing NSDR in that short breathwork session. And then, number three don't go to bed tense. If something is stuck, journal it to get it out, move your body to get it out or do breathwork to get it out. Don't carry the weight of the day into the sacred space of your night.
Speaker 1:Now, if this resonated with you, if you're ready to stop just doing your way through life and start being more, start being more aligned, more energized, more fulfilled, then you can join us live, wednesday, april 23rd, 1 pm Eastern, for our brand new masterclass how to Create Energy, success and Spiritual Alignment While you Sleep. Speaker 1:Now here's a final thought that I want to leave you with. You weren't meant to grind your way to fulfillment. You were meant to be guided, and guided by your intuition, guided by your body, guided by your higher self. And that guidance it often comes in the stillness, in the letting go, in the space where the mind quiets and the soul speaks, and that, my friend happens while you sleep, so let's make that space sacred again. Are you in? I appreciate you being here with me today. If this episode spoke to you, then please share it with someone who's ready to rest more deeply and live more fully.
