So now let's get into today's episode. Now I know Valentine's Day is right around the corner and while everyone's focused on love and relationships, I want to shift the conversation to the most important relationship that you'll ever have, the one with yourself. And it took me years to understand this and to transform, and once I did, once I made this shift. It was a paradigm shift in my life which helped me to get to where I am now in a much faster way. So let me ask you this what invisible walls are you holding back from feeling your best? What boundaries have you accepted as just the way things are? What if I told you that you could reprogram your mind and your body for peak health and high performance? Well, today, that's exactly what we're going to do. So let's get into why you may be stuck in a cycle of low energy and performance.

Speaker 1:

Most people think the secret to high performance is working harder, pushing more, grinding through it, but that's actually the fastest way to burn out, and I know this because I lived it. And I always say and it took me a long time to learn this too, because I used to wear that that I'm a hard worker as a badge of honor. And now I say if you're working hard, you are doing it wrong. So a few years ago I hit a wall, really, really hard hit, and I thought I was doing all the right things, I thought I was eating healthy, I thought I was getting the right kind of exercise and movement, I was trying to get enough sleep, but my energy was shot, my mind was foggy, I was miserable and my body felt like it was working against me with everything that I did. But what I didn't realize, I was stuck in survival mode, trapped by subconscious limiting beliefs that I didn't even know existed.

Speaker 1:

And the truth is most people are in the same boat. They think I just don't have time to take care of myself. This is just how my body works. This is part of getting older or aging. You know, I've tried everything. I don't know how many times I've heard that. You know I've tried everything. I don't know how many times I've heard that you know I've done everything. You know nothing will change. But these are just stories, stories that people are telling themselves and, like any story, they can be rewritten. So today we're going to break these boundaries and talk about the three key pillars that unlock high performance, vibrant energy and optimal health.

Speaker 1:

So, if you're ready, let's dive in Pillar number one mastering your mind and rewiring for success. Now, technically, we're not rewiring, but we're creating new neural networks. There's actually not copper wires in the brain, but we can actually rebuild those neural networks and rewire, so to speak, for success. So let's start with your biggest limiter, which is your subconscious mind. Did you know that 80% of your daily thoughts are actually the same as yesterday's? That's right. So that means that if you're struggling with energy and motivation or health, that there's a good chance that you're running an outdated program that's keeping you stuck. But here's the good news you can actually rewrite that program.

Speaker 1:

So using tools like hypnosis, clinical hypnosis. I'm not talking about stage hypnosis for entertainment. I'm talking about clinical hypnosis that's been uh recognized from, uh, traditional well, not traditional, but conventional medicine, uh, since the 1950s, other things like nlp, which is neuro linguistic programming and subconscious rewiring, you can actually. You can literally delete the mental blocks holding you back and replace them with powerful, high performance beliefs. So, instead of thinking to yourself or saying to yourself I don't have time for my health, you can change that and implement a new belief that my health is my foundation for success. So let's do another one. I'll never have the energy that I used to. That is a misconception. Your new belief could be I create limitless energy through my daily habits, and that's exactly what I did for myself. I created daily habits that created limitless energy, but before that happened, I had to hold the belief that I could create, that I do create, not could, because could means you haven't yet, you're coming from a place of lack, but that I am creating limitless energy through my daily habits. So your mind your mind is your most powerful asset. When you program it for high performance, everything else just falls into place.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's get into pillar number two optimizing your body. I want to say you need to stop guessing at your health or falling into the marketing trap that, oh you know, take this mushroom supplement. Now you know there's nothing wrong with mushroom supplements, but there's so much to do for your body before you know taking mushroom supplements. I'm not talking about, I'm not talking about psilocybin magic mushrooms. You know there's a a medicinal value to that too, but I'm talking about medicinal mushrooms, like you know, chaga and lion's mane and things like that. You know, before somebody goes down that route, there's a lot of things they need to be doing, and the way to do that is to run some functional lab tests to be able to see exactly what your body is deficient in. What kind of toxicities are there? So let's talk about health.

Speaker 1:

Most people think they need more motivation, more discipline or more willpower, which is a finite resource, to get their energy back. But the real reason that you feel drained, exhausted or sluggish are the hidden imbalances in your body. You know. Ask yourself are your hormones working for you or against you? Are nutrient deficiencies silently draining your energy? Are toxins clogging up your system and slowing you down? I know they are for me. Every 90 days I go through a functional detox and I remove those toxins that I just can't avoid them. So I need to take action, take those steps to be able to remove those toxicities.

Speaker 1:

This is why functional lab testing is an absolute game changer. Did I say gain Game changer? Instead of guessing, we run at-home functional tests. That's right. These are done right in the privacy of your own home, no phlebotomist or anything. These kits come right to you in the mail. You do the samples yourself, send them back through the mail and that gives us precision insights into exactly what your body needs to perform at its peak. This is an unfair advantage over you know, not knowing really. That's really what it comes down to, and so, uh, different than conventional blood work still needed. You still need to run your blood work with your primary care physician, but these are advanced precision, at home functional lab testing. And when you optimize your body from the inside out. Energy isn't something you chase, it, it's something that you embody and that's where life starts to change.

All right, let's get into the last pillar, pillar number three shifting from survival mode to thriving mode. Now let's talk about how to break that stress cycle Because, let's be real, most people are running on caffeine, cortisol and adrenaline all day long and while that might get you through your to-do list, it's also wrecking your hormones, it's messing with your sleep and it's keeping your body in survival mode, which is called sympathetic depression, nervous system dominance. So the key to unlocking true energy and high performance, you might be wondering, it's mastering your nervous system. So you know, we first talked about mastering your mind, now we're mastering your nervous system. And I'll tell you if there's two ways that I can help 95, maybe even 99% of the population out there. It's getting control of that central nervous system, rebalancing that nervous system, which is completely possible to do, and then healing and sealing the gut. That's what most people out there need.

Speaker 1:

So some of my favorite tools to shift from stress mode to high performance mode breathwork and qigong, tai chi as well. So qigong and tai chi were my lead domino, as you may or may not know, into the wellness industry over a decade ago. That can instantly calm the nervous system. Another one of my favorites is optimizing sleep and circadian rhythm so you can recover like a pro. And then, of course, doing daily detox, weekly detox, quarterly detox and daily nutrient support is definitely important. That means removing what's draining you and fueling what elevates you. So when you balance your body and balance your mind, you go from pushing through life to flowing through life. Basically, you're turning from paddling upstream to just floating downstream, and that is where high performance lives.
