I am coming to you fired up from the 2024 Reimagining Health Summit. This was the brainchild of Dr Stephen Cabral and his team putting this all together, all of the incredible team members over at the Integrative Health Practitioner Institute and Equal Life and the team at stephencabralcom Absolutely amazing event.

Speaker 1:

This was hosted at the Hyatt Regency Cypress Resort in Orlando. The resort itself was amazing well worth the trip just for that. But this three-day world-class event. It was packed with mind-expanding insights and cutting-edge wellness strategies, and today I'm breaking down my top takeaways from the summit, covering everything from energy and longevity and practical tools for your health journey. Huge shout out, like I said, to Dr Stephen Cabral and his amazing team for creating an event that really is the future of health. Now, there were 16 speakers over the course of two days and I'm not going to go through my notes from each one of the speakers. They were all amazing in their own right, but I will go through a few of them here maybe seven of them for my takeaways from the summit.

Speaker 1:

Now, first, dr Cabral started off with his keynote, and that was on the energy and longevity link, his opening keynote. It really posed a powerful question Is energy the missing link to longevity? And he explored how we can recharge our mitochondria, our cellular batteries, by blending ancient healing wisdom with the latest and greatest science, a deep dive into energy as the foundation for a longer, healthier life, setting the stage for everything that followed. And you could feel the shift in the room. People were really ready to level up their health with these concepts. And you know, dr Cabral has been saying it for the longest time that he really feels that the future of medicine, the future of health, lies in energy work. Whether that's well, he doesn't go into, he just says energy work. But energy, whether that is things like Reiki and cranial sacral therapy and sound healing and vibrational healing and all of that, that's really what he means with energy work. And we're going to talk a little bit more about my experience with some of those energy modalities while I was there. So I'm going to go through these takeaways from the summit about the keynote speakers, but then I'm going to talk about the experiential part of my experience there.

Speaker 1:

It was absolutely amazing. So one of the most impactful speakers that was there for me and I I practically wrote down every word the man said was, uh, innovative cancer therapy. So dr tony yemenez from hope for cancer. So dr tony, he founded uh, hope for cancer, and that is in mexico. Um, he presented on how non-toxic treatments are reversing cancer in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Hope for Cancer has developed seven principles of healing process and that offered a compassionate, effective way to slow, stop and even reverse cancer without harmful side effects. And his work showed us that there are real alternatives out there for treatment. So you can check out hope for hand. Hope for cancer, I believe it is dot com. Yes, hope for cancer dot com. You can check them out. If you or any loved ones have, um, you know, come down with cancer and, of course, no medical advice not claiming to treat, diagnose, cure any disease here on this podcast, but I'm just bringing you what is out there for options. And you know, even at the Hope for Cancer booth that I went to, you know, when they say goodbye they said you know we hope we never see you there for treatment, but you know, if anybody that you know or love needs our help, we're here for them. So absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1:

So next, health benefits of molecular hydrogen. That was presented by the amazing Kate Mills. She's absolutely amazing. She opened our eyes to the healing potential of molecular hydrogen water and it's been shown to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation at a cellular level, which is huge for overall health and longevity. Now, this is nothing new. Uh, the company, uh kangen, was there. They make the k8 machine, which is that machine's been around for well at least the concept and the technology has been around for about 40 years in clinical practice and this is something that is used in cancer treatment as well. So that was absolutely amazing. They had a booth there set up. They were serving molecular hydrogen water there, so all weekend long I was able to to drink molecular hydrogen water rather than, you know, the chlorinated and possibly fluoridated water that may be piped into the? Um to the resort. Uh, from the tap water. Uh, so luckily we had that and we're able to fill our water bottles and drink that all day long. So grateful for that.

Speaker 1:

So next, um, the title of the talk was not balancing parenthood and business, but that's what I got out of it. These are my takeaways, and this was presented by Angie Green and Arlen Fletcher. So, angie Fletcher, or Angie Green, you may follow her on Instagram For those balancing family and entrepreneurship. These are two major influencers, husband and wife, angie Green and Arlen Fletcher, of Mamouche, and also their other business is Hard to Kill. They offered practical wisdom on handling both of those worlds both of those worlds meaning family and entrepreneurship, and being major influencers on social media and they shared how prioritizing health helps you to show up fully for your family and for your business, without compromise. Uh, and it was a very heartfelt talk that they gave, so that was a a big takeaway for me.

Speaker 1:

And then fitness industry myths from the from the men at the mind pump podcast. I don't know if you follow the mind pump podcast, but I highly suggest you check that out. Uh, yeah, the crew from Mind Pump podcast all of the crew was there Justin, doug, adam and Saul and they brought the fire with a reality check on the fitness industry and the misconceptions in that industry, and they really reminded us that it's not about hacks or fads, really reminded us that it's not about hacks or fads but about building sustainable habits and resilience in the body. And you know, for them to confirm that, you know, in order to build muscle and strength, you don't have to push yourself to failure. That's actually one of the misconceptions. That was one of my biggest takeaways, and I've heard this before, of course, from Dr Stephen Cabral. But pushing yourself to failure is less effective, uh, than those those small gains where you're just, you're doing the right amount every uh, I wouldn't say every single day, because you want recovery in between. Now you can work out, you know, five, six, seven days a week, but you need, if you're going to do that, you need to tone it down. Uh, you know, every other day, with cardio in between, and a day of rest is a great plan as well. So, great takeaways from the mind pump guys. That was fantastic. I'm chuckling because it was Dr Cabral and the four mind pump guys up there all talking about balancing women's hormones and they just paused for a second and had a chuckle that there was five guys talking about, you know, balancing women's hormones and they just paused for a second and had a chuckle that there was five guys talking about you know, balancing women's hormones, but nonetheless, very highly educated people there.

Speaker 1:

Next, specialized health topics on eye health and oral health. So, eye health we had Rudy Massif from Viveraze teaching us about protecting our vision in an age of digital screens. Rudy has created the Viveraze company and they have some amazing technology for eyewear that you can implement and this is really for overcoming the impact of artificial light. So if you're working in an office all day or working on screens. Um, you know you're indoors, you have fluorescent lighting and led lighting. Um, high intensity discharge lighting, like all of these can negatively impact your vision. And he's created a an amazing set of products for eyewear that can absolutely help to avoid the damage long term damage that that can do.

Speaker 1:

And then we had Dr Stacey Whitman, a biological dentist educated us on the role of oral health and whole body wellness. It was absolutely incredible stuff. Yes, oral health can impact all of the systems in your body, can impact your gut microbiome, can impact your cardiovascular health, can impact your mental health. Oral health is so important. She really opened our eyes to how biological dentistry vastly differs from traditional dentistry as well.

Speaker 1:

And then so last, on the talks you know there were many more talks, but I'm going to end it here the Power of Cold Immersion, and this was presented by Robbie Besner of Therasage. So, robbie, he presented, he shared the health benefits of cold immersion, and I'll talk a little bit more about that when I get into the experiential highlights. It's a powerful tool for reducing things like inflammation, improving circulation and even boosting mental resilience. And then, of course, they had. So cold immersion is something you can do. Therasage has created the TheraFrost cold immersion system. You've heard me talk about Therasage before, with the Therasage 360 Plus sauna, and you couple these two together and it was absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1:

You know these setups are accessible for everybody and the science behind it is just absolutely awesome. It's not for everybody, so you know if somebody's central nervous system is dysregulated, you know cold immersion is something that you want to start off. If you're going to do that, you know you want to work with an integrative health practitioner that is educated in this. And if you're going to implement cold immersion and you have a dysregulated central nervous system, there is a way to implement it very gradually, very slowly, because we don't want to reverse, we don't want to go backwards, we don't want to backslide, anyways. So let's get into the experiential highlights.

Speaker 1:

This event was experiential, which meant we didn't just sit in a chair and listen to these speakers all the time. We tried out the very latest in wellness tech and we got to speak with all the speakers. Like they were mingling about the crowd during the breaks and lunch break and it was absolutely amazing. We got to talk to each one of them. Um, so some of the things they had their uh, pure wave company was there. They had the? Uh, the vemi beds we'll talk about that in a minute for cellular detox and relaxation. Uh, live o2 was there with their ewot for oxygen boosted recovery. Like I said, therasage was there with the therafrost cold immersion, as well as the, all the, the full line of therasage products, not just the sauna, the thera360 sauna, but all the red light therapy and the bio bands and the? Um, just all the energy-based uh stuff that they have there. Uh, like I said, the kangen company was there with their k8 hydrogen water for hydration and cellular health. Um, who else was there? Oh, it's just so many vendors I I feel bad that I might be leaving somebody out um, like I said, the thera, thera 360 plus sauna for detox and rejuvenation.

Speaker 1:

So let's, let's break down a couple of these here the? Um, the vemi, or the? Um the pure wave vemi bed. So that's V-E-M-I, that stands for Vibroacoustic, electromagnetic and Infrared, and these are beds. And they also had PEMI mats. So PEMI stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Mats, electromagnetic field mats, and these are advanced wellness tools designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress and support the body's natural healing processes through various types of energy therapy. So this goes back to what dr cabral said, that he truly believes that the future of health is in energy, energy and vibration. And if you've listened to the breaking boundaries podcast for quite some time, at the very beginning I was talking about how everything is energy, everything is frequency and vibration, and this goes for health too. So you know these vami beds are absolutely amazing. They combine vibroacoustic therapy using sound waves and vibrations, and infrared light therapy and pulsed electromagnetic fields. They're designed to create an immersive environment where frequencies of vibrations and light therapy. They can work in harmony to improve circulation, enhance cellular regeneration, reduce inflammation, relieve stress. The infrared light therapy in the in the vimibeds they penetrate deep into the tissues, offering warmth and cellular benefits, while the pemf targets the body's energy fields to support healing at the cellular level.

Speaker 1:

Now I spent 30 minutes on one of these beds. I wish I did the one hour and I wish I got on the Vemi mat, but I did not have a chance to do that either. You know, time was limited and I just I couldn't do everything that I wanted to do. This experiential re-imagining health summit, I'm telling you, I'm so charged up from it and there was so much to do there. I could have spent a week listening to these talks and trying out all the equipment. It was absolutely amazing. So next I got to do the LiveO2 EWOT. So that's EWOT.

Speaker 1:

E-w-o-t stands for Exercise With Oxygen Therapy, and it's a wellness technology. It's designed to boost recovery and performance by providing oxygen-enriched air during exercise. So by breathing high purity oxygen while exercising, the LivO2 aims to deliver more oxygen to the cells, which enhances circulation, improves mitochondrial function, speeds up recovery, improves cognitive function as well. This oxygen saturation helps to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, even in the brain. It supports cellular repair and it can lead to increased energy levels. So you know we might be wondering what are some of the key applications? Could be athletic performance, it could be recovery from athletic performance. It could be recovery from chronic health conditions. Could also be for cognitive and mental health, could be for anti-aging and longevity. Absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1:

I got on that bike. You could do it on a treadmill but they recommend a bike. I got on that bike with the oxygen and they give me regular oxygen and then they let me work up to a certain heart rate and then they drop the oxygen as if I was at the top of the mountain and they make me do this. Well, they don't make me. But then I do a sprint on the bike and then during that sprint I am oxygen depleted. So my body is starving for oxygen under this extreme condition of a sprint on an exercise bike, a stationary bike and then they blast me with full oxygen, full saturation. And then I get to recover for a little bit and then they blast me with full oxygen, full saturation, and then I get to recover for a little bit and then I do that again. I did that three times and it was absolutely amazing. Now I'll tell you what it felt like afterwards. Now, if you've ever done a 7, 14, 21-day functional medicine detox and at the end you have that energy and that mental clarity and that light feeling after just 25 minutes on this EWOT exercise program. That's how I felt, for the rest of the day at least, and I really wish I had time to get on it again and go for more sprints and experience that once again.

Speaker 1:

But absolutely something amazing and this equipment is. It's very reasonable that you can put this in your own home. You know a stationary bike. You can get one on Amazon. That's reasonably, you know, reliable for maybe $300. And then you can put this EWOT system along with it, and I do believe they have financing as well. So that was a great experience as well.

Speaker 1:

And then so let's talk about my, one of my favorites. So the Therafrost cold immersion therapy. It involves using cold water exposure to improve recovery, reduce inflammation and support mental resilience. This practice it's sometimes known as cryotherapy or ice bathing. It involves immersing yourself in extremely cold water, sometimes around 50 degrees or lower, for a brief period, and the cold exposure it constricts blood vessels, which helps to flush out toxins, reduce swelling, enhance circulation as the body warms up afterwards, and this results in faster muscle recovery, reduced soreness, making it popular amongst athletes and fitness enthusiasts. So yeah, muscle recovery, pain relief, immune and mental resilience, metabolic and fat burning support those are all key applications right there. And you know it was absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1:

I did this. I got right out of bed 6.30 in the morning. You know I slept in a little bit 6.30 in the morning. I slept in a little bit 6.30 in the morning, threw my bait in Sudan, went down there was nobody waiting there and I got in that tank. I did a little hypnosis first, a little breathing exercise, and I got in that tank. And I'll be honest, when I got down to my you know, I put my feet in and there was a coach there coaching me through it Dr Sean, absolutely amazing. Shout out to him and he's like, don't even think about it, just get right in, go right down, right down to your neck.

Speaker 1:

And when that cold water hit my chest, now it was about uh, 43 degrees for me. And when that 43 degree water got to my chest level, um, or, I sank down into it. It took my breath away. So I had to work through that breath a little bit. But once I was in there, once I was in there, I was actually able to. You know, through hypnosis, self-hypnosis, I was able to disconnect from the feelings that I was feeling in, you know, the fear of being in that water and and my, my brain saying something's not right. I was just able to sit and relax and breathe. I actually submerged my entire body, so dunked my head under a couple of times. Um, you know, it's usually recommended one to two minutes.

Speaker 1:

I was in there for about three and a half minutes and because that was my first time with cold immersion, dr sean says all right, let's, let's call it a limit. If you want to do it again. You can after, but let's get yourself out. And uh, it was, absolutely it was. I was looking for expansion and that gave me expansion that really it was electrifying, it was rejuvenating I had I felt so energized afterward it was absolutely amazing. Yeah, I was frigging cold. That was my first thing that I said to him. He said how was it? I was like, well, oh, he said, what'd you learn? I said I learned it was cold. And then I immediately went from there into the Ferra 360 infrared sauna to recover and bring that body temperature back up quickly. Now that sauna was running at 170 degrees no-transcript, you can leave filled.

Speaker 1:

It's actually portable, so it's inflatable, it fills up, but it's very durable, very rugged, um, so you can store it or you can move it very easily. Uh, and it's, you can actually fit two people in it if you needed to, um, but it's, it's really built for one person. So, absolutely amazing. And uh, what else? So I talked a little bit about the, uh, the kangen k8.

Speaker 1:

It's an advanced water ionizer. It produces hydrogen rich alkaline water and it's believed to have antioxidants and hydrating properties. You might be thinking, jeff, you know, uh, water already has hydrogen. It's h2o, um. But this is it's different. It uses electrolysis and it infuses water with molecular hydrogen and it creating it creates water that may neutralize harmful free radicals in the body. So the K8, it's designed with eight platinum coated titanium plates and it offers a high efficiency for generating various pH levels of water. So you can adjust the pH for that, whether it's, you know, for yourself or for your animals, or for your plants or for cleaning. These levels range from highly alkaline for drinking to acidic for cleaning, making it so versatile for home use. So some key applications for antioxidant and cellular health and enhanced hydrogen recovery hydration, I'm sorry and recovery and digestive and ph balance as well. So this is very beneficial for um digestion as well and, of course, household use um to round that out. So the kangen k8 it's popular in wellness focused households, among athletes, uh, people with looking for natural ways to boost their hydration and overall health, and and, like I said, it's been used in clinical settings for over 40 years, so it's absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1:

The Therasage 360, the infrared sauna I'm not gonna go too deep into that. I've done a podcast on that one before. I own one. I have one in my home. It's absolutely amazing. I use it four to five times a week. Some key applications for that is detoxification, pain relief and muscle recovery. Immune. Some key applications for that is detoxification, pain relief and muscle recovery. Immune. Boosting skin health and anti-aging. Love my sauna Best investment I've ever made and I'm looking forward to the second best investment, which is going to be that TheraFrost system as well. Speaker 1:

And some final thoughts so I can wrap it up here. I don't want to go much over 30 minutes today, but I'm all fired up. I could talk about this event so long. The connections, the new tech and the incredible people I met were by far the greatest takeaway of the summit, especially the people in the connections.
