Speaker 1:You may have recently witnessed, as I did, along with my family and my children witnessed, the mesmerizing dance of colorful lights in the polar skies, a cosmic spectacle that captivates our imagination and reminds us of the vastness and the beauty of the universe. But did you know that, beyond its breathtaking appearance, the Aurora Borealis holds valuable lessons for entrepreneurs like us? First, let's delve into the science behind the Auroras, because I am a science geek, I love science, and a little bit about the Aurora is that these dazzling displays occur when charged particles from the sun that's 93 million miles away. These charged particles from the sun interact with the Earth's magnetic field and atmosphere, creating luminous patterns of light. Now I won't go too deep here, but you can go to the blog post and check it out, where I'll get into what type of, what color lights react with what types of elements in the atmosphere to make the different color of lights.
Speaker 1:Now you might be wondering what? What does this have to do with us entrepreneurs? Well, consider this approximately 90 percent of the world's population resides in the northern hemisphere, where the aurora borealis is most commonly observed, and this means that the majority of us living in close proximity to this cosmic phenomenon, whether we realize it or not, and you know I bring up that fact that 90% of the world's population is north of the equator, in the northern hemisphere, and a lot of people don't realize that the aurora happens also at the south pole as well, in the southern hemisphere, but it's just not as widely recognized because only 10% of the population lives in the southern hemisphere, lives in the southern hemisphere. But here's where it gets really interesting. The same solar storms called coronal mass ejections so we're going to refer to those as cme and the same solar storms that ignite the auroras can also impact our personal energy and our well-being. These disturbances in earth's magnetic field can affect our bio-electromagnetic fields, leading to symptoms such as stress, anxiety, fatigue and so much more. And remember, you can go back to the episode I'll link it up here in today's episode that we are bio-electromagnetic beings. We have an EEG, we have an EKG. Our hearts put out a frequency and a vibration. Our brains put out brainwaves and frequency and vibration. We have technology that can pick up on those and monitor those so that we can see how our brainwaves and our heartwaves are reacting. So how can we navigate these cosmic influences to avoid failure and achieve success in our entrepreneurial endeavors? Well, we're going to get into that. Enter integrative health, of course. I mean that's what this podcast is all about is transforming your mind, your body and your business through integrative health. So by embracing holistic approaches to well-being, we can harness the power of our personal energy to thrive amidst external stressors, optimize our health and, most importantly, our resilience, our ability to thrive and have vitality and be able to bounce back from adversity.
Speaker 1:So, monitoring solar activity through resources like the Space Weather Prediction Center and I'll link up a link. It's a fantastic website. You can actually see in real time the solar activity that's happening and then a prediction or a forecast from the Space Weather Prediction Center from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, noaa. I'll link that up so you can check it out. It's pretty phenomenal, and this allows us to anticipate potential disruptions and take proactive measures to mitigate their impact. Now you also might be wondering what exactly would proactive measures look like? Well, let's get into that, because I always like to give you a plan here on the Breaking Boundaries podcast.
Speaker 1:So of course, I'm going to start here with diet, and you know you might be thinking how does diet play a role in solar storms? Well, consuming a nutrient-rich diet high in antioxidants can support cellular health and reduce inflammation, potentially mitigating the impact of CME activity on the body. That's right. Next, we have exercise. So regular physical activity about 150 minutes per week is about the minimum, but regular physical activity boosts circulation and it promotes overall well-being, which is going to enhance resilience to stressors such as CME-induced disruptions in electromagnetic fields. Remember, we are bioelectromagnetic beings, so whatever we can do to have a robust system in our body, our immune system and all the other functions of our body, is going to benefit us so that we have more resilience to these stressors. Now that brings us to next, the next item stress reduction. Now practices such as meditation or deep breathing exercises, especially Tai Chi and Qigong, and yoga. These are all internal energy modalities, especially Tai Chi and Qigong. Those are internal energy martial arts and these can help to lower stress levels, improving the body's ability to cope with external stressors like CME activity.
Speaker 1:Next, toxin removal, detoxification methods such as the Dr Cabral Functional Medicine Detox Protocol that we do over at Love Energy Wellness with our community in our support community and support group. And every 90 days we host a Dr Cabral Functional Medicine Detox Protocol. Not going to go too deep into that, but you can go back to some episodes and learn about that. That would probably be Diet Exercise, stress Reduction, toxin Remo removal. So 12, 14, 16, 18, episode 18. Check that out and you'll learn about the detox protocol.
Speaker 1:Now some more detox methods can be sauna. I absolutely love my Thera 360 Plus Infrared Sauna with Red Light Therapy. You know, they're so affordable, they're so compact, they fold up, they travel well, they can store underneath a bed or in a closet. They're absolutely amazing. I use mine about four times a week for detox. Something else you can do Epsom salt baths really easy, you know, if a sauna is not in your reach, you can go to your local supermarket. You can go, usually in like the soaps aisle. You can find some Epsom salts in there and purchase those. You dump about a cup or two cups into your hot bath, stir it up and soak in that. You're gonna feel amazing. You're gonna sleep so good that night. What else can we do for toxin removal? Adequate hydration that's something else that you can add in making sure you're drinking half of your body weight in ounces per day. Consuming detoxifying foods like broccoli or broccoli sprouts any cruciferous vegetable can support the body's natural detox processes and that can reduce the burden of toxins that are exacerbated by CME events.
Speaker 1:Next is rest. So you want to prioritize quality sleep, getting 90 minutes of deep sleep for the body and at least two hours of REM sleep per night. That helps to rejuvenate the brain and things like daytime relaxation, like non sleep, deep breaths. That's NSDR, that allows the body to focus, to recharge and repair, and enhancing resilience to the physiological physiological effects of CME activity on your central nervous system. Remember, again back to being bio electromagnetic beings. You have an electrical system in your body that is your central nervous system, and it is definitely affected by the CME events.
Speaker 1:Now, emotional balance, cultivating emotional resistance and resilience through practices like mindfulness you know that could be something just going for a simple walk in nature or just pausing for moments of appreciation that can be mindfulness or of intentional meditation is what most people think about when they hear mindfulness and journaling. These can all help to regulate emotions and minimize the psychological impact of CME-induced disruptions. And then, of course, we have science-backed supplementation Certain supplements such as magnesium, activated B-complex, omega-3 fatty acids. These have all been shown by research, clinical research, to support the nervous system function and mitigate the effects of stress, potentially reducing the impact of that. Yes, you guessed it that CME activity on the central nervous system. And then, of course, success mindset adopting a positive mindset and proactive approach to challenges can foster resilience.
Speaker 1:It's all about building up that resilience. And you know you might not get back to that meditation, you might not get results the first time you ever sit down to meditate, but the more you do it, you're going to be building that resilience. It's like going to the gym or practicing your golf swing it's never gonna happen on the first day, you know. You just need to keep putting in those reps and building that resilience and adaptive coping strategies which can empower individuals like you and I to navigate the effects of CME activity with confidence and determination.
